Brithday Weekend!

It was a true Birthday weekend for Benjamin:) On Friday he had a party in his classroom with cupcakes and balloons and loved all the attention. Then today, on his true Birthday, we had George, Janell and Madison over for a birthday lunch of Chicken Nuggets and French Fries and he got lots of presents! He has been singing to himself all day in between phone calls from SO MANY friends and family in Michigan and Ohio wishing him a Happy Birthday.

What a fantastic Halloween! Ben had a party at school, then got to visit dad's office and do more trick or treating and then out in the neighborhood at night. He was exhausted, but thrilled at the end of the day:)

Fun visiting in Michigan

Ben had a great trip to Michigan and Ohio last week. We got to see both sets of Grandparents and lots of cousins. We all had a fantastic visit, but Ben sure missed his daddy!

Beautiful Weekend!

We have had the most amazing weather this weekend, it has been fantastic.
Here are some pictures of Phil taking Benjamin for a ride on the back of a bike (We borrowed George's bike and Ben loved it!).
Phil also continues to prove himself as amazingly useful around the house and took out and replaced our kitchen sink. It wasn't 1 minute before Benjamin sat right down next to Phil to "help" him with his tools to put the new sink in. Also here are a couple pictures of the new car, a few of you have asked, so I thought I would post a couple. They are not the best as the car was in the garage, but you get the idea:)

Almost September???

It is hard to believe it is almost September. Where did the summer go! Here are some pictures of Ben playing with Daddy - wearing Darts on their heads:) (His FAVORITE time of the day) and from Saturday when we took Ben to a Hands on Type Kids Play area in Bellevue. It was a Fantastic! Ben had a great time, he got to "Drive" and Semi Truck and play in some really fun water tables.
He starts his new school in two weeks and is very excited. We see it every day and he loves to watch the progress as it is being built.

A day at the Beach

This morning Janell and I took the kids to Alki Beach in Seattle. It was great fun, Ben loved it, he ran around in the sand and had a great time. We walked up and down the water front and the weather could not have been better.

Our little Dare Devil

Here are a couple of pictures of Ben (they are pretty blurry - sorry) with his new bike helmet. He loves to go around the block on his tricycle and there are a couple of hills where he gets going pretty fast - and then he likes to take a sharp turn. One of these times he is going to go flying, so we have made the no tricycle without a bike helmet rule. He does love his "hat" though - he even slept with it tonight:)
